The Tall Friend is the result of a collaboration between a streamline moderne style chinese interior decor company and the students of the product design department at Lasalle College Of The Arts. It is my take on a dynamic room divider with cultural cues and references in it's design.

This project required us to also contact manufacturers and estimate the cost of producing our designs and figure out the logistics of it all.

Scene Shang also held an in-class design competition and ranked my concept second in my class, with a small cash prize. A little victory that was very motivating.

Currently, deliberations are on to manufacture the winning design and potentially exhibit and sell them at a gallery space at Cineleisure Mall, Orchard Road, Singapore.
