The goal of this project was to study a designer or choice and reflect their style, philosophy, aesthetics. detailing, peculiarities and idiosyncrasies. The secondary requirement for the project was that the product created must be lack in colour.

 My choice was ex- Apple designer Jonathan Ive. I studied his opinions on simple and unobtrusive design as well as his love for aluminum and machining. 

Reflecting his work I decided to create a device that would be a replacement from a modern day smartphone curbing addiction while not limiting function for the user. Sporting an all new form factor as well as inspiration from Jony Ive's Unibody design and iPod scroll wheel devices, the device brings a fresh take to a simple and unobtrusive utilitarian product to the table.
