Modern Minimal Coca Cola Bottle

This concept design basically came out of an Instagram post I saw that showed the evolution of coca cola bottle and it really perked my interest because of the story of the shape being inspired by the cocoa pod. The coca cola company decided to change their bottle shape because a lot of copycat companies would attempt to steal their brand identity since the bottle shape was easy to manufacture, thus a switch to the inspired shape we see today. The original design had a sense of simplicity in it that very few mainstream brands sport nowadays.

In my design, I tried to incorporate a more minimal aesthetic, sending a 'Premium' coca cola vibe but keeping in the older style of embossing the Coca Cola logo on the glass itself instead of a label. The design features a simple tall bottle with the iconic coco cola red on the top cork.

This project was a task I did for a couple of hours in between school projects and had fun imagining what this iconic brand could possibly be.
